Hello everyone!
I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has applied to North Seattle CC's Fall 2011 lpn program and if they have heard anything back from the admissions committee. I am getting anxious about hearing from them
Thank you
I'm getting anxious. What was everyones GPA's and HESI? Not trying to be intrusive just curious what things are looking like. My GPA is a 3.725 and HESI 94%....Im not banking on getting in....MAYBE waiting list or alternate for the waiting list if I'm lucky..... :-( never know though....maybe competition is less competitve this winter....!
Hello I too am anxious and nervous! My GPA is 3.85, and my test score was 95.2%. I hope I get in but I don't want to get my hopes up. Waiting is making me crazy , not to mention my family doesn't understand how difficult it is to get in. Oh well, best of luck to us all! 10 more long days

dear student:
thank you for applying to the practical nursing program for winter quarter, 2012 at north seattle community college. unfortunately, your application was not selected. acceptance into the program was based on the cumulative gpa of the prerequisites (biol& 241, biol& 242, engl& 101, and psyc& 200 or accepted substitute courses) and results from the admissions assessment exam (a2). gpa and a2 score were given equal weight.
there were 130 applicants for winter entrance and 32 students were accepted into the program. the following are the scores of the successful applicants. the average a2 test score was 97.29 and the average gpa was 3.92. the highest a2 test score was 99.2 and the lowest was 93.9. the highest gpa was 4.0 and the lowest was 3.8. the highest total score was 198.8 and the lowest was 192.3.
the next application period will be for fall quarter, 2012. applications will be accepted june 1st – 29th. all applicants should regularly check the nscc lpn website, https://northseattle.edu/programs/nursing, for updates of the program requirements and changes in application information. all changes will be listed on the website. only applications with completed prerequisite classes will be considered.
if you have questions, please contact the division office at (206) 934-6028.

Wait, chell_sea, where did you get the average for application period being a 92? Is that for GPA or test score? I'm getting nervous, and I'm hoping they send out the results earlier than the 14th like they did last time. I guess there are 60 less applicants for this period than there were last time. So, hopefully our chances are better! Do you guys know how many people they accept? I can't remember for the life of me.
