I am such an allnurses geek...if I'm not studying my pre-reqs, or on facebook, then I'm on here, having a blast! I love all the disgusting, hilarious, and informative things that I find on here. I found out that I could eat while reading the gross out forum, not get scared away from my pursuit of nursing by the 'shortage' or 'nurses that eat their own young/kind', and learn how NOT to do certain things....Thank you allnurses for this wonderful forum!

That goes double for me! I've been lurking for quite a while - sending links for specific threads to classmates in nursing school, reading hilarious posts to the family, and hopefully learning a lot about what to do and what not to do when I'm an RN. I just came out of hiding to post this morning, but I've enjoyed the forum since I heard about it early in nursing school. I'm happily addicted to the forum - thank you for the forum, and thank you nurses for your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences with the rest of us.
