We have a LOT to be thankful for this year.

We closed on our first home TODAY! :eek:

I was accepted to nursing school (found out the same day I found out our mortgage was approved). :)

And... I will be receiving a full scholarship from a Level 1 Trauma center!!! Great hospital (my FIL who hates all healthcare workers :devil: ) LOVES the people at this hospital.

Also, I would have to fail my final exam in A&P1 to get anything lower than an A.

Who's next?!?

I've gotta score 160 points in the last two exams (80 average) next week to earn the "Ace." Do-able, but still challenging -- as we'll be travelling across State lines tonight (returning Sunday) and no doubt suffering from the trytophanic effects of all that turkey tomorrow and the left-overs on the weekend.

Kinda tough to study with all that stuff circulating throughout the body and the BBB! :eek:

I can't tell you how excited I am for this semester to be over!!! This being my last semester makes it even more exciting. I have 5 days of class left - 3 of those being exam days:eek: and a presentation next week. Pinning is on the 8th:cool: and my last ever nursing exam (for my adn) is on the 15th. Then study study study for the NCLEX and I will be fullfilling my dream of becoming a nurse:nurse:

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!

I for one cannot wait until this term is OVER! I've already completed one class (there's a 6 credit hour A for me! Yay!) and will finish the other one this next week. Final is on Thursday. What irritates me is no matter if I get 100% on the exam, I will still get a B. My B is so solid, there's no helping it. This will be my FIRST B since starting back to school last Spring. Grrr.

This year I rejected by one school, and accepted by another. Then the school that rejected me for the fall, accepted me for the spring. I am better off at the other school though! I LOVE it! :) I only had 2 classes this semester so we'll see how much I'm loving in in the spring with clinical, class, work....

Ours are in 10 days. We have one test, a cumulative final and a major presentation to give in that time. Yee Hah!!!!!!!

I have to comment on the "first b since coming back"

I came in to nursing school with all A's on my prereq's.

Well then reality hit. B's look great now. There is a saying here "C=RN". No one here gets A's. You might get the odd A on a test, but as a final grade...it would be a miracle

Happy Belated Thanksgiving, everyone!

I am SO ready for this semester to be OVER! Head to Toe Assessment practicum on Tuesday, OB Exam on Friday, final cumulative (Peds/OB) exam on the 15th then I am FINISHED until January! If I make it without any more gray hairs it will be a miracle. Time to color my hair again I suppose.

As for moi, I will be finishing my finals by the 19th (informatics and OB). I am only taking senior practicum and community next term and then it will be all OVER! Thank God--I am just tooooo eager to start actually earning money for taking care of people.
