So what does everyone use. Tried a certain brand. Feels more like bleach. Not loving it. Obviously doing the hand washing thing but working in a hospital we are not always near a sink and feel the need for hand sanitizing ... whats everyone’s choice of product?

When I was “in”, I used standard sanitizer which had alcohol. I never had any positives, but I did test in the morning before work.

Germ x alcohol free foaming hand sanitizer. I ordered 2 cases from Sams and it lasted 5 years! Smells good too.

When I was a TPAPN participant I used Babyorganics alcohol-free foaming hand sanitizer. The active ingredient is Benzalkonium chloride and is found in the baby section of supermarkets.

Hey all,
I’m in DFW about to sign my board ordered TPAPN contract and was worrying about this and other incidental exposure. I know this is strictly about hand sanitizer, but I am unable to send PM’s on my account. Do you have any other topical/beauty products that you avoid aside from the standard mouth wash, hand sanitizer?

I’m not TPAPN but another equally godawful program. Honestly, I’ve used the gel hand sanitizer at work with out issue. As for mouthwash, etc, just be sure it’s specifically says alcohol free. I’ve dyed my hair a rainbow of colors over the last 5 years and had no issues. I’ve also spent more time than I should in the nail salon getting my mani/pedi because dammit, they can’t take everything away from me!!! ? Still no issues.
My personal thought is that so long as you avoid the obvious alcohol containing items and stay away ingesting weird unpronounceable things, try to live your life. Stuff in food (soy sauce, wine in sauces or dressings, etc.) is probably more likely to cause issue than beauty products. It may feel like it, but you do not need to lock yourself in a closet with a box of saltines and bottled water until this is over. Read labels and be sensible and you should be fine.

Fortunately the facility where I worked in diversion were very serious about hand hygiene and had sinks everywhere so hand washing was not a problem. I haven't used hand sanitizer in over ten years. Still if you must use it keep your hands away from your face. It's when you inhale the fumes that is gets into your system and effects your urine. I read this in an article by Dr. Skipper many years ago.
If you don't know who Dr. Skipper is Google him along with ETg testing.
