I had my interview last week but I was given a 221g letter stating that my documents will still be reviewed by them and will just receive a letter regarding the result. I have given them all docs that the consul needed. For me, I answered the consul's questions quite well. Actually there were two of them so I think one is some sort of a trainee. I was not asked for any additional docs either. The consul didnt even inform me that my case has to be reviewed. By the end of the interview, she just asked me to take my seat and wait for my number to be called.
At releasing ( when I thought everything was ok) the lady told me about the 221g letter and gave me the pink slip. she said that I will just pay for the courier service just in case the consul decides to send the visa without a second interview.
To all who have undergone this same frustrating experience, please kindly tell me how long it took you to be called for interview or got your visas.

it is in the news yesterday that the alloted 50,000 visa quota for professionals, and nurses are running out on the next couple of months accdg to the mbassy.. i am afraid for us especially those who are still waiting for the release of our visa (due to submission of lacking dox and dox for review).. Do you think we are still counted on the visa quota for those who are finished with interview? i hope our visas will arrive soon, im so worried..let's pray harder..Godbles to us all!

You will still be interviewed but your visa will not be released until you submit your lacking documents.
got my visa yesterday including my dependent's visa...
thanks God.
for all those who are waiting, just be patient. it will arrive soon. you have to wait for 30 working days.
