  1. As far as I know Golden Summit is located near Mango Square thats in Mango Avenue (Uptown Cebu City). They usually process nurses for NZ, entry as Student visa, so you still have to go to school for about 2 mos before actually working as a nurse in NZ. Cost for processing is about 400T (200T for schooling and 100T processing plus another 100T for the pocket money when you go to school in NZ) Hope this helps
  2. Thanks a lot REP Ill keep this site posted on my experience.
  3. To clarify, I do have an immigrant visa already. My question was focused on what my agency told me that due to retrogression, even if I have an immigrant visa I could be denied entry to the US...this issue was already answered by suzanne, rep and silverdragon. Thanks everyone!
  4. Suzanne, thanks again. I appreciate all the inputs.
  5. thank you so much for the inputs. Im planning to leave this november for Florida.
  6. I would like to ask the opinion of anyone Im from the Philippines, got interviewed at the Mla embassy last Oct. 16, 06 got hold of my visa on Oct. 20, 06. My agency told me to leave ASAP since due to the retrogression even if I was issued a visa, I could be denied entry to the USA if all the 50T allocated visa for schedule A will be used up. Is there any truth to this matter? Thanks!
  7. sorry double post
  8. Check the manila embassy website for the schedule which they update usually on the 15th of the month. You may also email NVC on the 2nd week of October to get the new batches of schedule for embassy interview for the month of November. According to the Visa Bulletin for the month of October, Visa is still current. If there is a retrogression, they announce it on the visa bulletin a month earlier, so if there is no mention of a retro on the October visa bulletin, probably you will still get your visa this november. Just keep your fingers crossed. Good Luck to all of you guys!
  9. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I would like to ask you how many days it took for your visa to be delivered. When was your interview date? Are you in manila area or quezon city? Does it matter where you have your visa delivered, I mean will it take longer for the visa to be delivered if you have it addressed in the province like Cebu. One more thing, did delbros text or call you what time they will deliver your visa so you could wait for it and personally recevie the said document. Thanks and congratulations again!
  10. Yes I already have my interview schedule. Its on October 16, 2006. However, i have to go to St. Lukes for the medicals on the last week of September coz my wife (derivative) will most probably have her monthly menstruation on the 1st week of October. Is it ok to go to medicals without the appointment letter?
  11. do you mean that we can have our medicals even without the appointment letter? Do we have to inform st. lukes extension clinic beforehand or its okay to go there and just give them our case number. Will they give us a copy of the appointment letter?
  12. Once we get our appointment letter is it ok to have our medical exam as early as 3-4 weeks prior to your appointment date. How long is the validity of our medicals?
  13. You will still be interviewed but your visa will not be released until you submit your lacking documents.
  14. thanks a lot for sharing your experience on this. [color=#0000bf] while spending hours searching for other answers ( or may i say supporting ideas to reduce anxiety) to my questions over the net, i found these things (related to my question on nbi clearance.) informative. feel free to comment. [color=#0000bf]if the remarks on you nbi clearance is: [color=#0000bf]no record on file[color=#0000bf] - it is issued for those who requested for their nbi clearance for the first time [color=#0000bf]no derogatory record[color=#0000bf] -is issued upon renewal of nbi clearance but means clean record also and should be acceptable. [color=#0000bf]no criminal record[color=#0000bf] - means there is a civil case/record on file [color=#0000bf]from the manila embassy website: nbi clearance.[color=#0000bf] applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid record clearance for travel abroad purposes from the national bureau of investigation (nbi). an[color=#0000bf] official letter of explanation from the nbi is required[color=#0000bf] for[color=#0000bf] any notation of "[color=#0000bf]no criminal record[color=#0000bf]", [color=#0000bf]nopending criminal case[color=#0000bf]" or "[color=#0000bf]with derogatory record[color=#0000bf]." nbi is located along taft avenue in manila. for immigration purposes, an nbi clearance is considered valid only for a year from the date it is issued.
  15. I recently got my NBI clearance. On the remarks portion I noticed that its says "NO DEROGATORY RECORD" The previous NBI clearance I got 6 months ago had this remark "NO RECORD ON FILE" I would like to know if this is OK for embassy interview requirements or do i need to get a note from NBI re:this matter. Any inputs? Thanks! More Power to allnurses.com!!!
