What's everyone's opinions on chewing gum while on the job?
Just curious because I love to chew gum but I feel as though no one in my hospital does it.
believe it or not, i have *never* chewed gum at work, nor will i ever. too much dental work. i haven't chewed gum in decades. i have also never given my boss the finger or yelled at families from hell. (i have, however, deliberately ****** them off.)
ruby vee deliberately ******* off families from hell? priceless. i wish you could share. . .all the nurses shackled to their press-ganey surveys might get vicarious pleasure from hearing about it
kind of like the last few guests at a party engaging in slightly off-kilter silly-talk to amuse themselves before hitting the road.:)
reminds me of a cartoon i clipped out and had on our fridge until it finally disintegrated.
in the first panel, there are a whole bunch of people partying in someone's living room.
second panel, one lone couple, who are obviously tipsy continue to party. the clock shows
it's much later than it had been.
last panel, the man goes through in his pjs and sets the milk bottles on the porch steps, glaring at the couple.
they were probably chomping gum and clicking their teeth too.

Oh no no no. If she didn't birth me or sign my paycheck, that would NOT be happening.
Oh, u are right!!! I can't believe administration didn't get mad about the way she acted, because they sure got them about this MD. The ONLY person that has asked me to spit out my gum like that is my mom, a LONG time ago!

Yes. And can you just imagine our future grandkids or great-grandkids who choose nursing or have a school report be directed to the allnurses archives for stories of our heroism finding this??
