hi to all blson aspirants,
let me start by saying that i am a little bit nervous because fall 2010 applicants are the first that are required to take the teas test. i'm also a little bit excited to have come this far. i'm hoping to get accepted into the fall 2010 program.
i will be keeping in touch with this website as much as i can this semester. to all 2010 nursing school applicants, i sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
:ancong!: to all the accepted nursing students. it's been a long and tough journey for most of us...
however, i look forward to meeting you all as we begin the next phase of our lives. i am very excited at the same time i do not know what to expect despite all the info i got from old posts. one thing i know is i will get used to saying lots of nos
, to demanding and sometimes selfish relatives/friends. i can't afford to waste this opportunity... besides, the ace program requires a lot of dedication and hardwork.
i will see you all on the 13th of august during orientation... i will be the girl with a huge smile:d on her face. lol!
i'm hoping to get my cpr certification as well as other health requirements done by may. i will definitely be keeping in touch so we can share info on textbooks, uniforms and all the good stuff. i've been going over the handbook and i thought i should note this clause.
failure of more than one nurs designated course because of a grade of "d, f, u or wf" results in termination from the nursing program. (page 22, line 700-701).
i don't intend to scare anyone plus i know we all aspire to excel in all our classes. in the meantime, i'm trying to prepare for my finals(15 credit hours) at gsu :smackingf...
once again, congrats and cheers:cheers:
to all applicants still waiting for their letters, i'll remember you in my prayers. don't give up!!!
Thanks for the schedule update ATLBubbles!
Has anyone on here tested out of the US/GA Constitution class? (I think its for POLS1101) I am planning to do so in June and am wondering what to expect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has their old textbook still, I would love to borrow it!
Thanks for the heads up bellefemme!
Hey sunniefresh, I took both the history and constitution tests (they didn't accept my transfer credits) last year. They give you a study guide for the exams online, which you can find here if you haven't already:
http://www.gsu.edu/counseling/history_constitution.html
The questions come directly from this study guide, word for word (even the typos are the same). Use those and you'll ace it. Good luck!
