hi to all blson aspirants,

let me start by saying that i am a little bit nervous because fall 2010 applicants are the first that are required to take the teas test. i'm also a little bit excited to have come this far. i'm hoping to get accepted into the fall 2010 program.

Hey guys!

My name is Brandon and I just got my letter of acceptance into the ACE program for the Fall 2010. Ive been on here looking at the comments about the letters and just got mine. It really hasnt hit me yet but im excited and ready for it and cant believe it happen. Does anyone know how long the whole thing is? i think trad is like 3 years and ace is about 2 but im not sure. I know its gonna be hard and wanted to go ahead and meet some of my future class mates. good luck guys!

Hey Brandon (bbisso1) - that's great....congratulations! The ACE program is 16 months, 4 semesters - so it will conclude in December of 2011.

Yea no problem. My GPA is the worst of everything and it really worried me. I have like a 3.(3-4)ish program and like a 2.7 overall. (i just transferred from Ga. Southern where i partied a bit too much) Ive been at state for a year now, this is my second semester here. I got an 87 on the teas (90th program percentile, 95th national), but i also had 2 really good recs, what i felt was a really good essay, and over 100 volunteer hours from high school. This is also my 3rd time applying to Ga. State. I honestly wasn't expecting to get accepted once i saw everyone else's stats b/c of my gpa. especially to the accelerated program. Im a little worried about how intense its gonna be, but theres no turning back now. for now im just happy to have a plan. :)

Hi all,

To those of you accepted into the ACE program, did your ULearn show 2 Pins quizzes? One for Accelerated and one regular? Are we supposed to take both? Because I took the Accelerated one and passed with 100% after a couple of attempts, and I'm still not able to register for classes. It says my date is like August 28 or something like that . When looking at the registration schedule of classes, I can see that others have already started registering. Anyone else having trouble with this?

I am so glad I found this thread. I have been checking my status twice a day, which I now see does not matter. Unfortunately now all I want to do is go check the mail instead of going to class. I am curious in everyone's stats also, for those who haven't yet and don't mind posting. Mine are 3.4ish program GPA. 89.4 TEAS. I have no idea where I stand and know that the GPA isn't so strong.

Hey ATLbubbles - my PINS icon did show up sometime last week, and there were 2 quiz options, but I just took the Accelerated. I looked, and they are pretty much the same quiz, but I'm not able to register yet either. I think it says somewhere that it will take up to 2 weeks after completion of the quiz.

But today, my PINS icon is no longer on ULearn....odd.
