let me start by saying that i am a little bit nervous because fall 2010 applicants are the first that are required to take the teas test. i'm also a little bit excited to have come this far. i'm hoping to get accepted into the fall 2010 program.
i will be keeping in touch with this website as much as i can this semester. to all 2010 nursing school applicants, i sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

ssample,
You are very welcome! I signed up online. The website is http://www.gacpr.com/openclass.html. Im excited I will have someone there to talk to! Let me know if you have any problems accessing the site. I copy/pasted it so it should work.
Hi everyone, i'm a junior in highschool and i really want to get into to the ga state nursing program im gonna be talking my pre-reqs at gpc does anyone have any tips or advice for me?
That's great that you already know what you want to do! The best advice I have is to get all A's in the pre-req's and study hard for the TEAS exam. It appears that those with 3.9+ GPA in pre-req's and 90+ on the TEAS are automatically accepted. Also, start looking for volunteer opportunities at hospitals near you. Good luck!

I also only took the accelerated one. Im pretty sure thats the only one you need to take. I tried registering as well and while it will let me class search and click to add the class, it doesnt show up as registered. So I guess there is still a block on my account too. But where did you see that people have already started registering because when you look under the column for each class we are supposed to register for, where it says seats remaining, every class says all the seats are open still.
Also, im not sure if anyone is interested but I signed up for a CPR class that is going to be 9am on Sunday April 25th in Decatur. The company name is Georgia CPR, LLC. They are certified under the American Heart Association. It is $50, which im not sure if thats considered expensive or not, but I just want to get it checked off my list of things to do. So please come join me if you want:)
