Supplies: Trauma shears, waterproof stainless stell Bulova watch (ok, it has some diamonds too, lol) with second hand and date (I used to always label my blood with the wrong date!)
Scrubs: Iguana med, Urbane and Dickies
Shoes: the jury is still out, I am in the ER so I have to be on my feet nearly all day and walking VERY fast. I have crocs and some Nike shocks but I am still searching for the dream shoe. I tried on Danskos and felt like they were heavy like wooden Holland girl shoes. I like the look of them though.
My Palm Tx. Keeps me
Oh, and one program lets me just write on the PDA and it saves the writing like a picture. Great for maps and jotting down phone numbers and meetings and all that stuff.
Here is what I love:
Shoes: danskos all the way. My feet and my back don't hurt anymore--at all!
Supplies: I picked up a $8 stethoscope holder that clips to my waistband so now I don't have my heavy cardio littman hanging around my freakin neck all day. I love this thing!! I love my littman cardio 3 scope as well. Oh ya and some hemostats, I use them when I can't get y'd in lines unstuck--I tend to tighten them too hard and then can't get them undone....lol
Scrubs: I am ALL about Iguana med or urbane.

I was online today deciding which scrubs to buy and talking with my SIL who is in Nursing school... I was wondering what is the greatest, most helpful item you have every bought---nursing related.
Mine is Supportive Socks. I get home from a 12 hr shift and my legs aren't throbbing!!!
I am still looking for the best shoes though.
