Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.

Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

Congrats on your sucky PPT! LOL! I think at times we are our one worst critics...sigh...

You should be getting an email about a nursing pin if you are interested in one. It's getting close!! What will you do with all that time on your hands??

Awesome Sunshine!

jjPeds hopefully yours will turn out as well. Sometimes the one's we think we do the poorest on are the ones we get the best grades.

I am counting this 5 weeks down, 35 days and counting!

And yes I'm on here avoiding a DQ...avoidance mode all day, hey the upside I got exercise today. :lol2:

Oh, I hated that pamphlet! It was hard fitting so much info on such a small area!

As for extra time...I can spend time with the family...sleep...read something other than school stuff...craft...

AND, I got cleared to go back to work soon, so there's that.

Just finished week one of Health Assessment, and I don't know why, but I thought that the pamphlet assignment for infant safety would be easy..WRONG! I do not like trying to fit information in little boxes. This instructor had too many rules such as, "if you do it this way, make sure you include.." It was like that all over the place and I had to write her little rules down along remembering the rubric. I am fearful of this grade.

I struggled with the formatting on that pamphlet. Not enough room!

OMG, 2 classes left! Started Trends today! And I somehow managed to get a 100% on that dumb PPT that I thought sucked :/ Also got my email to apply for graduation and stuff. Eek, it's getting close!

Oh, Daisy

I am so excited for you. :D I can hardly wait for me to proclaim such a statement.

I too was so overwhelmed with all that they were requiring. How am I suppose to fit so much info into a three fold pamphlet.

I was thinking more like an old fashion back in the day road maps.

Condense and reword. Condense and reword....:bluecry1:

Making that pamphlet was so difficult. Ugh, there wasn't enough room, I had to make some things really small font to make them fit. I did not enjoy it at all.
