Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.

Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

Never heard of that program. Sounds interesting. I used to run my papers through three different sites. Talk about OCD.

Just for kicks, open up Safari, Chrome and IE when you submit to GCU tii. All three, can at times, show different scores! Now why is THAT?

Seriously try it. Submit under any of them. Doesn't matter and then open up each one and see the scores. Sometimes IE and Chrome would be the same and Safari off by a point or two. I never knew which one was going to be different. My tii scores were always low, so it wasn't a big deal, but I found it rather odd.

Yes, I do enjoy using them and my slang. I also looove using the word "it". LOL! My ethics prof did NOT like that work and God help you, if you, if you call something "it". Now that I'm trained to not use that word (see how I avoided it?), it really stands out when I read papers or posts.

Did not know that either! I am gettin' educmacated down in the Canyon. Seriously though, I have learned so much, and picking up mistakes - easy peasy! I am glad now that I have waited until I am almost as old as dirt to do this, will keep me running with the wolves!

Yeah, like when there were no kid noises, when I worked part time, wasted hours watching tv because there was nothing else to do....oh yeah!

OMG, 2 classes left! Started Trends today! And I somehow managed to get a 100% on that dumb PPT that I thought sucked :/ Also got my email to apply for graduation and stuff. Eek, it's getting close!

Just finished week one of Health Assessment, and I don't know why, but I thought that the pamphlet assignment for infant safety would be easy..WRONG! I do not like trying to fit information in little boxes. This instructor had too many rules such as, "if you do it this way, make sure you include.." It was like that all over the place and I had to write her little rules down along remembering the rubric. I am fearful of this grade.
