Grand Canyon University RN to BSN Reviews

Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.

Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

I have been fortunate,lol No CLCs for me!! Unless those 2 "extra" classes have them, but I get to pick the classes and will ensure no group projects,lol

Ding Dong the CLC Witch is Dead, the Wicked Witch is Dead!!!!

I posted the final CLC after they requested changes....18 hours later no responses, finally someone said are you waiting to hear from people before you post? Yes...I'm serious! I finally gave them another 4+ hours before posting it after that comment (sigh)!

My hubs is making me a chocolate cake part conciliatory after this latest mess, and definitely congratulatory!!!

Do you have your 15 articles? Have you read them? That was my prob over the weekend, some of the articles I thought I had weren't good, couldn't even fake it, so had to find more to replace the losers. The assignments for week 1 are totally doable, it was a combination of things that made my situation ugly. So Beauty, read those articles, and if they're not right, get new ones before class! LOL

I am searching my articles now. I have already 8 of them. I am just not sure how to answer the questions for the "selecting sources of literature" assignment. I am suppose to summarize the abstract? when asks for statistics, am I suppose to say what kind of statistics it was used or stated 80% of people bla bla bla while 20% did not? I am not sure if I am doing it right. grrrr I just wish I could fast forward this 5 weeks.
