Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Deadpool619 said:Hi Flames,So we're finally getting grades trickling in our capstone cohort. I wanted to ask you or anyone else on here how you guys documented your practice hours besides..."4 hours spent pre-writing and writing weekly assignment." In the new capstone we can get 50 hours from assignments and the rest from precisely WHERE?! Tried asking instructor but as previously mentioned, responses and GRADES have been late.
We just had to update the ISP with the actual number of hours spent on each item and the date completed.

U should almost be done that class by now,lol I really found most of the classes the same, as they all tend (except capstone) follow the same format....just get into that rhythm of getting the discussion questions out of the way and work on the paper. Dont be afraid to ask the librarians for help on finding material!! I found emailing them the best...as they would email back the results..if u did the chat option, they just showed u how...lol

It worked. So my advice to anyone would be just to sit back and don't over-analyze, just do what it says and you will be fine. This is a good class because the topic is what you are interested in. The final paper is still a compilation of prior work, with some added areas that are all covered/answered through your DQs. So put the time into the DQs so that you can use those for your paper.
Good to see some positivity about this capstone class. thanks for your post. can you please email me with some advice, i will be needing some guidance.
Greetings Everyone,
I've been on and off here (along with GCU). So now that I am in a better place in life, I believe I am ready to finish what was started 4 yrs ago.
So now the question is, has anyone gone through the re-entry process?
I would so appreciate any advise as to how I go about this and encouragement.
Thanks Y'all!!

totally different.....only 5 weeks in length.....and everythign u did was geared towards the final paper. Think mine was around 39 pages (including the ref pages) It was pretty straight forwards.....all the major work was done in weeks 1-4 and week 5 was pretty much just copy/pasting it into form...well u had to pretty it up to make it flow properly. U had a mentor, but all that person had to do was look at ur paper and offer suggestions....but u didnt have to follow them....No keeping track of hours, etc etc. Was like a regular class, but 1 big paper, lol
