Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
11:21....Where are you??? I'm in Ecuador
Amsterdam for the next 9 days. We are making the big move back to the Los Angeles area right before Christmas. So if anyone wants to hire a new grad who has been out of school and living in Europe for the last year and a half, you can find me right here! I possess minimal APA 6th edition skills. :roflmao:
In this Week's Edition of "Don't Say I Didn't Warn Ya", we review the importance of reading the rubric:
Assignment description states the student must identify "At Least Three Complications of Cancer".
The rubric, however, states "At Least Three Complications of Cancer" only in the 3-dot position (Satisfactory 76-79%).
To be graded as Good 80-89%, or Excellent 90-100%, a 4 or 5-dot, the student must identify "More than three complications of cancer".
Ah-HA! That's not very nice!

Always look at the rubic!! And look under the tab "announcements" find a lot of good info
Pretty happy with myself today, managed to fit a couple cool quotes into my DQ, 1 was from Dodge Ball (with ben stiller) check yourself before you wreck yourself!!
Pains to see others completing the program that were behind me at 1 time,lol..should not have taken 6 months off,lol of course if I had finished on time...just means a course in something else! Good on you, that have completed the program, hopefully you can chill for awhile, you deserve it!!
Awful week in my class as well PrismRN. First someone actually cited a eHow article and will get the same 5 points I am getting in the discussion post. In the instructor forum someone asked a question in which the information was specifically located in the assignment page, I am sure she will get the full points also.
Tonight I get an email from a CLC member that wanted me to look at her first completed page, which wasn't bad but not what she was assigned. 5 emails back and forth and she starts to get a little ***** (because she has a busy life at work). Anyway she emails me a 5 page care plan that she cut and pasted off a care plan website and asked me what she should add to her page.
I promptly let my team know what is going on and then also sent a message to the instructor. In a way I hope she is late or don't do an adequate job because the instructor keeps warning that no credit will be given if everyone doesn't do their part.
Of course it was my fault because the forum was confusing to her and she wanted me to delete old posts so it wasn't as confusing. I think she should have looked at the slide contents I posted above the assignments in its own forum before starting on work from an old discussion about slide contents that she did not even participate in. Oh brother.....
Looks like I will be the hero again and save the day. My wife wonders why I have a hero complex....... Because of CLC Projects. Well that and the big 'S' on my chest at work....
The only thing I got is that the last member checked in for the CLC with a couple hours to spare...
I'm so done with school right now. I have half a paper written for both ethics and spirit next week (last week in Spirit starts in 2 hours, yay!!!). New ethics paper this term and it deals with a 6 yo with meningitis. At first I was like whoop whoop 1200 words, now I'm freaking out (gives me narcolepsy) because I'm at 1000 words and only 1/2 done. At this point, I never want to write another paper again, oh right there are 4 more classes to go!!!
Wrapping it up for the night. ZZZzzzzzzz I'm sure I'll be up later with insomnia.
I used to dream of homework assignments. Glad that's behind me. I sleep better at night.
Rob, sorry about the CLC nightmare. Some people are not suited for online learning. I used to post a HUGE notes in the forum such as:
POST COMPLETED WORK HERE
READ THIS ANNOUNCEMENT
Do you think they ever read it? NO. People would post crap all over the place. It used to **** me off. Seriously, how do these people function at work???

Good luck with your word limits. I remember ethics was picky about that. Thankfully the capstone wasn't.
