Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Nursing Students Online Learning

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

And the problem with that is you end up the team leader...again..

Yes, but not that big of a deal.....get things rolling and then chill

Is this week 3 assignment? Ours wasn't called a wellness plan but we needed a wellness diagnosis. Our teacher wanted a paragraph explaining the reason why we chose the wellness diagnosis. Then I put the diagnosis - Readiness for ............ related to............ and then another paragraph explaining why they were ready for that particular diagnosis. I had never heard of a wellness diagnosis so I was glad another student asked for clarification. Hope this helps.

This helps a lot, I was way over thinking this.. Thank you.

I just made my last post in the DQ forum!! Now I wait for my instructor to grade week 4 assignments and give feedback, so I can incorporate it into the final Capstone and hit the submit button. What a wild ride this has been...

I totally freaked out this morning when another group posted a question as to how to do part 2 of the CLC. Within 10 minutes I had the CLC agreement done and uploaded. I did contain myself in offering to edit that document, I shall be doing that anyway so...sigh.

Such a loser! Why could I have not been in that other group? Why oh why????

And for those of you keeping tract I did not end up in Spirit with the girl's paper who copied me throughout Stats. I was so thankful, I was super worried about that. Hope she does not have mine.

A little over a week and it will be Christmas break (not that there is a real break when you have papers to do, but kinda =)

Maybe this year I will get ahead over the xmas break........prob not,lol

I'm through the abstract and the first five sentences, and already have 17 comments, so far it is all english and apa corrections that you can find on OWL. 7 more pages to go...really.  :wacky:  :sour: :cyclops: :writing:

OWCH! You know what I found interesting about that peer review assignment, that the paper has already been graded by the Prof. I got 100% on my original, and the corrections I recv'd back from my peer were all WRONG. Seriously, they were wrong. I even double/triple checked OWL & other things like grammar. She said I should have put quotation marks around The Great Spirit (my paragraph was about Native Americans). I couldn't resist, I corrected her corrections, I wrote below her sidebar notes "Disagree – no quotation marks around proper nouns (ex: God, Allah)". Then I was told to capitalize medicine men, I wrote "Disagree – medicine men is not a proper noun". That's pretty sad that I'm so anal I had to get the last word, even if only to myself, that I wasn't wrong :cheeky:. Now if any of you find that she was right and I did mess those up, keep it to yourself! :roflmao:
