Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
FYI, there is a CLC in Trends, just got my Friday preview of the class. Just wanted to spread the word `cause I think I remember someone saying there wasn't one. So if you're looking to predict your schedule or do some juggling/doubling, thought you might want to know
I'm in ethics right now. Finishing week 3. And there is CLC. I'm fact there are 2.
Honestly. I am grateful and lucky to be in a good situation. I just got word from one school that claims they can not review my transcripts because back when I went to school, in the dark ages, my school was not regionally accredited. Seriously, it was a great 3 year program, now a four year. No student in the history of the school had ever not passed their boards on the first try. I am sure whatever accreditation was needed at that time was in place.
I am thanking my lucky stars to be in a good situation, welcomed and being treated well. This really opened my eyes. This has been a rough search for me, as you all know. But I think it has really helped, because I have a good feeling in my gut. Which is a good thing to have when you start such an endeavor.
Okay that's like telling me there's a Cheeto waiting for me at the top of Mount Everest.
ahahahahahahahaha! I am sitting here catching up to all the posts here since I last post in early October and this one made me laugh! Thanks Prism.
Finished Research last week and started ethics this week. Research person is slow to grade. She still hasn't graded week 5 PICOT question and the CLC we did and tomorrow will be 7 days after the class has ended! Its hard to move on when you don't have your grade yet.. for me anyways.

The DQ "worthiness" isn't changed mid-stream during a class, they vary from class to class. Each class puts a different value on the DQ answers. Some classes they're worth 10, some classes 20, but the further down the road you get in classes, the DQ is only worth 5 points. Still get 20 or 40 for participation, but the DQ itself is 5 measly microscopic points. Makes me sad, because I think they get harder. I stopped trying to figure that out a long time ago; why some assignments are worth 275 points when it was just a simple resubmit of a previously-perfect paper (Spirituality), some are only 100 when they truly kick your butt, and then the 20 vs. 5 for the DQ when the 5's tend to take more effort. Oh and the 300 points granted for my portion of a CLC (3 slides)? Okay, I'll take that. I guess it all evens out in the end, 1000 is 1000 no matter how you slice it.
A 1 hour limit for a DQ... No way sister, even in my occasional freakout Wed/Fri night last minute rapid-replies, if I don't start at 2230 I won't get it done. Self-induced stress though, because when I look at others' 5-liners/1 small paragraph, I wonder sometimes why I bothered.
