Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Hello to all GCU students.....
Ireceived an UNofficial schedule based off the UN official transcript i sent to my enrollment couselor at GCU. Can anyone tell me what exactly is the course "LDR461 Service Learning"? Im waiting on the enrollment counselor to get back to me thursday so i can ask him some questions i have.
This course is listed after the last Capstone Course.
Thank you.
Thank you and Sorry, i did not know that. It jus seems weird that its after the capstone course. I thought the capstone course would be the very last class in the rn-bsn program.
Besides this was unofficial based off my unofficial transcripts. I still have to get my official transcripts mailed to them. I basically needed to kno if i would only need to take the "core" nursing classes and from the looks of things that is all i would need to take, and this ldr461.....
Flames,
What class do you have after the Capstone?? Pandora and I and another person I know have Capstone as our last course.
OP, this does look like some leadership. When I googled, I only came up with a vague description and it looked like a few hours (10) as a volunteer somewhere? Of course that was google and under chegg.com Please let us know. I'm curious!
Everyone is on vacation until January 6th, so hopefully you will know something.

Good luck with Stats!! Stats is truly a whole different language!! My instructor was NOT helpful at all. Had to utilize a ton of external resources to understand the content. Although, looking back on it, if I were to re-take the course again, I would have a better understanding of the material. One thing that truly helped me was YouTube videos especially from this one in particular: Module 1 HLT 362V (2013) - YouTube ..of course it would make much more sense to watch the video when you're already in the class.
The author of the video is one the stats instructors at GCU (not my instructor though) and pretty much walks you through each assignment for ALL 5 weeks. I stumbled across these videos by luck during week 3 I think. Wish I would've found it sooner. What's sad is that I was able to learn a whole lot from these videos than from my own instructor -- who didn't seem to care about walking the students though the problems...
Hope this helps A LOT!!
