Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

For once I listened to my wife,lol She said in the intro cover what you will be discussing in your paper.....and then in the body your just proving what you stated in the intro! Al I have been doing thus far and seems to be working.

Oh yeah, that is what I do. When you write an abstract, and then the intro, the intro is a summary of the abstract.:sarcastic: Whatever. Believe me, I have no problem writing papers, but I have to edit, revise, etc. I'm not someone that can whip out a paper in a day in it's final form and either are my cohorts.

Maybe we put too much thought and effort into the DQ's and papers, but I'm a perfectionist.

I have an awesome husband who makes my papers pretty. I am one of those writers that spews everything out at once. I will be seated for a few hours and finish. I don't stop once I get started. He will come in after me and make it make sense. All the work is my own, he just edits. I will then go back and read it again to make sure it make sense and then edit if I find anything he missed. I'd say my papers take, on average, 4 hours between the writing and editing.

You want to rent your husband? The only person I have is a friend, but she is in a dual masters program and doesn't have time to edit mine. You are very fortunate! I also spew info on papers in a matter of a few hours as well, aka as writing a paper in a day with multiple distractions. Word count isn't difficult for me. I then have to go back and edit what I spewed.

LOL, no I'm good. It would be nice to pawn my paper off to hubs for editing while I went and soaked in some bubble's. He isn't good for that kind of editing, though he was helpful in stats, so I can't complain. :)

It is a huge benefit if you have someone that can assist you with papers, I do appreciate it when my wife looks it over, but she is busy and to be fair I have a lot more time on my hands, so I really don't have any excuses,lol But I did buy Grammarly yesterday--they had sent me an email for 50% off for the year--wasn't a true 50% off as it was still $87, but still a bit better that the last offer.

Appears our group has completed the PP presentation for this class!! Others had some difficulty--1 group as far as I know never made contact with 1 classmate and another group was having issues as well. I lucked out and my group was awesome,lol Maybe it was because of my strong leadership skills--nope,lol Nice to just give people a tasking and they do it, and do it well!!

Thankfully not all classes have group projects, however, some make it up with having a two project CLC. For the most part, mine have been ok. They have always showed up, but one showed up late and was a pain to deal with. In patho, you will have another power point based off a paper. I much prefer power points over papers, lol.

Oh, then let's switch! I will be in stats in Jan :/

So far we have lucked out with groups! This last one we had a girl who wouldn't respond until last minute, but everything got done in time!

That's the class I am just finishing up, it's blah!

If you look on the main portal page at GCU it will have all your classes listed. It should have your new class up as well, so you can see what is expected and such!
