Hello everyone!
My name is Josh and I am new here. Just graduated my RN program and I am to take the NCLEX-RN Saturday morning . I'm so nervous and deathly afraid of failing. I have been studying, but I feel that I didn't study as much as I could of. Any tips regarding the day before the NCLEX (prep/study)? All input will be appreciated. Thank you!

The day before the NCLEX you need to relax! Last minute cramming isn't going to help you. I would make sure you know how to get to the testing center, eat a good meal and try to get a good nights sleep.
Good Luck!

When I took boards in 1985, it was a 2 day affair that had all 1500 people in that conference room collectively shaking in their drawers. I went in with a bunch of my co-students, and after mulling over the options, decided to blow off the night before and have fun, then get rest. We all passed.
Rule out the idiot answers, and focus on the possibilities- then pick the best one. Do NOT over think them- you can go batty with all of the possible scenarios. Just take the info they give you (not any additional stuff you'd assume to be an issue- unless it's abvious like a severed femoral artery w/a compound femur fx-- if the question asks about priorities, obviously it's the bleeding...but they might have some good things about the fx...) . Fix what will kill them the fastest, and just take the questions at face value
Good luck- and breathe :)

The day before, do a light review. After that relax, watch a movie and get a good nights rest. Test morning, eat a good breakfast nothing to heavy though, and BREATHE. Remember you know your stuff or you wouldn't have graduated . Do not overthink the questions, go with your first response, do not second guess yourself. Again...BREATHE
You will do fine. Again.....BREATHE!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the advice and words of encouragement! I finished my NCLEX-RN about 2 hours ago. I hit about 215 questions (talk about torture!). Hopin' for the best! I will update when I get results. Does anyone know anything about finding your results by attempting to re-register on Pearson Vue? I was wondering if it is reliable? Thanks, once again!

Just check out the sticky Pearsonvue Trick part 2
Thanks, yeah I was reading up on it on here. I have a few friends that recently took the NCLEX and tried it and it was "reliable" for them when it didn't let them register and they ended up passing. I hope that it will be reliable for me too.

good luck! what did you use to study?
I took a bunch of my ATI quizzes/exams over again, went over my NCLEX review prep course notes, and Pharm flash cards. Also glanced at my ATI RN book. Also looked up alot of other NCLEX questions, found a cool site that helped me out. http://www.testprepreview.com/nclex_practice.htm Nice little reviews on there.
