Here is a place that we could start discussing the next part of our journey in nursing school.

Has anyone read the book they suggested in our acceptance letters? I bought it off amazon and I am excited to read it!!!

I am ready for the e-mail as well. I really want to start working out logistics for childcare, but I don't want to start until we get confirmed info from the school. I am also praying that our "boot camp" doesn't conflict with our beach vacation.

The wait is killing me as well! I called the nursing department this morning and the lady told me that they will be sending the information out before the end of May.. They are waiting to get all of the information so that they can send it out at one time.

I am anxiously awaiting it too! I am a planner so it is driving me crazy not knowing when I can work, childcare, Ect, Ect!!!!!!

Has anyone read the test success book yet?

I started looking into some of the material that we will be studying and it is pretty intimidating. I am just hoping we don't have to know everything mentioned in the textbook :nailbiting:.

Yeah..my daughter's school offers MWF, TTH or all week schedules, I signed her up for every day even though I feel like she is a little young for that...but she's pretty tough. My boys did all day daycare when I was a single mom and they are fine-but its hard. They said May, so the email HAS TO BE this week!! :) I hope it doesn't conflict with your vacation either, we are leaving on the last day of the boys' school this coming week and have to be back in time for me to start microbiology...my husband says can't you just skip the first day? ummmm no!

Does any one know if we have to change our major from pre-nursing to nursing on our own? Or will it be done by the nursing department?

My understanding was that they will eventually do it but it may take a while...if you need it changed for financial aid purposes you should go ahead and request it yourself...there is a form on their website you can print off and fax to them...I think if you tell them you've been accepted and that you need it changed for financial aid they'll do it a little faster!
