  1. I'm currently in the nursing program at GPC. They tell you that you have two tries to take the TEAS but If you didn't score below a 65, I would not take the exam over. When determining who enters the program, the number of times you take the teas is taken into consideration, and anybody that scored the "passing" score on the first try would automatically be placed ahead of you. If you have a strong GPA and at least a 65, then you should be fine.
  2. My cousin currently attend Bauder's nursing program. They adviced her that they will be graduating her class but they will be the last group of students.
  3. She sent the nursing information!!!
  4. The wait is killing me as well! I called the nursing department this morning and the lady told me that they will be sending the information out before the end of May.. They are waiting to get all of the information so that they can send it out at one time.
  5. Thanks for the info! Where did you go for your CPR certification and how much did that cost?
  6. Wow.. well I will definitely be buying my book from another source.. Without counting the price of the books, how much did you spend on everything else?
  7. FutureGaRN15 If you had to estimate, how much money did it cost to prepare for the nursing program? With the cost of uniforms, shoes, CPR class, shots, background check, and etc being taken into consideration.. We haven't got our follow up email yet and I was just wondering.. All of that stuff seems pretty expensive. Also, did you guys get the books from GPC bookstore?

  9. What's the name of the book that they recommended for us to buy?
  10. Well good luck! I'm sure you guys will do great. It was an awesome class and I'm glad I took it. I'm sure we will see a lot of the stuff throughout the program.
  11. Its definitely doable! The only assignments that are graded is the midterm and the final. All of the quizzes are practice work and they all are available throughout the entire class. Her videos are available also. Being that the quizzes are practice assignments, You can take them as many times as you would like. Dosage and calculations is all about math and conversions. Math is my favorite subject so it was pretty easy to me.
  12. Kjewel36, I went to the website and I don't see anything about 6south or 6north.. What city should I apply for? I see a lot of opened positions for Hiram and Dallas.
  13. I went last Friday and submitted everything. I had to do some type of advisement planning with Mrs. Creel and get that submitted to the financial aid department as well. What a pain that was!
  14. Thank you so much! I will be applying. Should I put you down as a reference or will you just speak with someone after I apply?
  15. Okay.. Well that's good. I'm ready to apply whenever.. I'm going to summer school at Clarkston campus and I plan on being back up that way by the time the nursing program start. How can I apply? And my plan is to be PRN and try to work at least 2-3 days a week.
