Did you ever get shoes or a watch....? I am still trying to figure out what to get. I did reorder my uniform top for the next size up. It came quickly and a was smooth transaction or, I guess I will see that it was smooth, if I wasn't charged (since it was an exchange) when I get my credit card. =) Are you ready for Boot Camp?

I am still trying to figure out what to get too. I'm going shopping today so hopefully I'll find something. Do you know what the requirements are for the watch? Like does it have to be white or anything? I have no idea what shoes to get. I think I might just get a pair of white nike shoes or something lol and yes i'm excited for boot camp! I'm a little nervous though.

I am nervous too. I don't know why I thought school started the week after boot camp. Looks like we have until July 19th. I planned on getting a 'plastic' watch as some areas of a hospital you would not be able to wear a metal watch. The ones I saw at GPC/Clarkston were plastic looking, not metal and they are not only white. They had a pink one! =) Let me know what shoes you get. I need to get that done in the next week so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Do the shoes have to be strictly white or can they have some silver trim? I have found some nike shoes I like but they have a little silver, majority is white.

White nursing shoes (white leather tennis shoes are acceptable with very little color trim, preferably white trim). Clogs are not allowed.

So, I would think a little color would be fine. Most of it will be covered by the pants. JMHO =)

Ok great thanks! Thats my last thing I need to get. I bought a plastic watch at Walmart. I'll probably get the shoes this week sometime. Can't believe orientation is a week away! :)

When y'all got the nursing fundamentals book, did you buy it brand new or used? Does anyone know if it comes with an access code and if so, do we need it? I am wanting to order it online this week but I am unsure of what to get. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I bought mine used, im not sure about the access code though. I would assume if it was required we had one they would've put that on the list along with the book.

The code is not required. It's just a way to access more questions from each chapter.

I liked how they had the days planned for us. I stayed for all three and glad I did. I am still nervous about learning so much in a short amount of time (i.e. all the reading for the first test). I just wish I knew who you guys were so we could have connected during the camp.
