I can't believe it. I have read in the past I wouldn't hear until the end of March or April to know if I was accepted. To my very happy surprise, I got my letter in the mail today! Let the games begin.....anyone else here from GPC? Good luck to you all!

Ok awesome! Thanks so much!

Hi everyone! I am new to this post and have been accepted for the upcoming fall class. I am looking forward to meeting everyone in August! Quick question about cpr cards, do we keep them until the first day of class or do we mail them to the nursing dept? Thanks:)

I scanned a copy of mine and emailed it in :)

Hello All!

I too have been accepted into the Fall 2013 GPC Nursing Class. I am very excited to meet everyone. A few things I have read on this post brought some questions to mind:

Do we have to register for boot camp? (I was under the impression that we just show up)

Uniforms - Do they run big?

My doctor told me yesterday they won't have flu shots until the fall. We have until Sept 15th according to the Medical Report form.

Congratulations! Can't wait to meet you too.

Yes we have to register. If you check your student email you should have a recent one about the boot camp and how to register. I think that the uniforms run big, I got a small in both top and bottom and I am about average size. Check the size chart on the website thats what helped me :)

To which address did you mail the medical report in?

Thank you!

Hey ladies,

I took my forms to the nursing department today. So, all I have to do now is get shoes and a watch. About the shots, I have read and heard that they (the nursing dept) understands that flu shots come out in the Fall and having all three Hep B shots is almost impossible before school starts. That is why we will probably have to sign a form saying we know we do not have the necessary shots but will have them completed as they are avaiable or (as in the third Hep B shot) as scheduled (six months after the second).

Welcome Nightingale2b and Lprice26. We will be meeting each other soon at 'Boot Camp'. :woot:

Aelmo14,

Did you ever get shoes or a watch....? I am still trying to figure out what to get. I did reorder my uniform top for the next size up. It came quickly and a was smooth transaction or, I guess I will see that it was smooth, if I wasn't charged (since it was an exchange) when I get my credit card. =) Are you ready for Boot Camp?
