I have a 3.94 overall and am carrying A's so far in A&P 1 and College Algebra. My program is very competitive (over 500 applicants for 120 spots) and I think you would have to have at least a 3.5 to get in.
Check with your school as all programs differ, but when it comes down to the end your GPA is what will distinguish you from the rest of the pack.
3.625 right now. Most likely will be petitioning with a 3.3 GPA though. Algebra is my enemy.
My sister was accepted into the nursing program at my college with a 3.0, which is considered very low here. In fact, she wouldn't even have gotten the seat if it wasn't for someone giving up their space.
Hi all, just giving my 2 cents....I had a 3.9, when I applied. But once I got to know people in our class, I found out there were many with 3.0 and below. I met a very nice and smart girl with a straight C avg. So, if your GPA is less than perfect, don't worry, they do factor in many things. Just depends, I know many schools have a point system etc. Ours did not, just had to apply and hope for the best. So keep your heads up, and good luck to all.
