So excited. I got my acceptance on April 6th. Then today May 7th I got my nursing packet which has the paper work for the CORI and SORI in it. Only thing that sucks is because I lived out of state I have to pay for the out of state ones (and they didn't say price) But I found out they require us to have iPads that are included in our financial aid, so that's good. My Orientation day is May 29th from 9-3. I can't wait. I have my CPR testing on May 24th. It's starting to feel more real every time I get something. I can't wait for my orientation day. When is your orientation day, or did you already have it?

Congrats on getting in! I just went to my orientation on the 2nd! I am anxious excited and super nervous to get started in the nursing program! Only problem I am having is the many costs not covered by financial aid. Physical, vaccines, CPR cert., uniforms, background check, drug screen and about 20 more things!! Its outrageous! My husband works but I don't and we have to small children! So very overwhelming right now! But still glad I got in :-) Best of luck to you and your nursing journey!!

Hope you mean may 7 n not April 7 ^
Thanks everyone. I have 5 small children, and I work part time. So the many costs are killing me already I found out the cost of the out of state checks are 31 dollars. The drug test cost 66 dollars. The uniforms are 12.99 per top, 9.99 per bottom, the name pin 10.99, the lab coat, 19.99, the warm up jacket 21.99, they weren't sure on the stethoscope price yet. I'm trying to save here and there but I live pay check to pay check already I got accepted for 2 scholarships which equal 500 together but I won't be able to use it until the 2nd week of classes, which I need everything before the start of classes. Oh, and I don't know the prices of the books yet! I wish they could give more time instead of waiting to tell us! Good luck to everyone.

Got accepted on April 20th. Orientation was May 2nd. We'll have Orientation part #2 in August. Have to get vaccination records, TB screen, background check, fingerprinting, etc. by July 7th. Nursing school starts the 3rd week of August.
Spent $209 on 3 sets of uniforms, stethoscope (Littman Classic SE II), medimeter, penlight & scissors. Still waiting to find out about books. They did say it should roughly be around $1,500 but we use them through all 4 semesters, so it's a big cost up front, but it evens out throughout the course of the program.
Best of luck to you!

Why don't you take a pell grant? or perhaps even a loan via the GOV not private loan.
