What are really good nursing shoes to get? I bought a pair of Dr. Scholls from WalMart. They keep my feet up pretty good but after awhile.. my heels are killing me!!!
Any advice on what shoes are great.. I'd appreciate it!! :wink2:

I use my old asic running shoes. they work wonderful. New balance also makes some nice walking shoes.

Well, for the last 3 semesters, I've worn Nurse Mates' Dove style. They are really cushy and comfortable, and even after a 12 hour day my feet don't hurt a bit! But, this semester I've been wearing my Dansko's and I must say, I probably won't buy any other shoes from now on. They are about twice the price of the Nurse Mates, though.. so if $$ is an issue, stick with the tried and true Dove's!

I will only wear Dansko. Not only are my feet never sore, the shoe doesn't absorb odor.

I have been wearing Dansko shoes for about 6 weeks and I love them. Before I had them my hips would ache and now I don't have any problems with my hips. My feet never hurt me either. There are many threads on this topic. Do a search and you'll get a lot of other opinions too.

I second the Shox! Very comfy. I didn't like the insole though, so I replaced them with the Dr Scholl's gel insole, so now I am gellin' like Magellan:rotfl:
