What brand of ink pen do you use? I used to really like papermate. But lately their quality has gone downhill. I've thrown away some recently because they leak ink. That used to happen only if I carried them in my pants pocket where they got too warm. Now it's happening if I carry them in my smock pocket or maybe even on the tx cart. Black ink is used where I work.

Well, I "cheat"... my husband makes wooden and acrylic pens with Cross refills... very nice to write with and very easy to identify MY pen. My papermates used to get walked away with all the time because people didn't think about them not being theirs..... but people realize this is not their normal pen, and it stays put.

I love Rose Art's X500 ballpoint. Writes smooth, lasts, and has the rubberized grip.

I like Uni-Ball Signo. But I am not picky. I'll take the free pens, too! I just like them to write smoothly. I love it when the reps bring in the free pens!!

My favorite is the Pilot EasyTouch retractable, doesn't skip, has a clear barrel so you can see the ink level. I buy mine from an office supply store 12 to a pack. Has the rubber grip also.

Anythign retractable and smooth writing. I've always been a pilot fan although I do use papermate click pen. It has a very comfortable jelly grip body. I hope they make point a little more fine, though.

Bic (i think) Velocity. Getting harder to find but they have a multi-pack you can buy with black ink and colored barrels (so I can identify my pen)

Dollar General sells some pens that are 5/$1.00. They are quite inexpensive, but write great!

Drug reps have great pens! I have bags and bags of these bright purple Zyprexa pens, and they are great quality. Easy to locate if they stroll off, too.

The red Zemuron pens have such smooth ink.

Going slightly off topic I recently tried to buy a Parker pen (lovely writer). Well, everywhere I tried to buy one the pen had a blue refill. You had to buy a different black refill to fit into your new pen. Everything you write now has to be black ink. I just feel the pen manufacturers are having a laugh at our expense. Yes, I bought my new Parker pen, but I managed to find a cheaper generic refill brand that fitted it. I just felt I had to make a stand against greedy pen manufacturers.
There, rant over. This is what happens when there is no chocolate in the house and I can't be bothered to go to the shops!!! :o

LMAO!!! BEEN THERE!:roll
I use the papermate Xtend. Haven't had any problems with them leaking and they seem to last forever. Have a nice gel grip to make it easier to hold. http://www.shoplet.com/office/db/PAP26500.html
