In the third semester of my program cardiac takes up a big chunk of the semester. Can anyone recommend good books to help with this? I personally do not like the Made Easy books, I just do not learn with pictures and funny stuff like their books have...my friend has the ECG made easy book and I took a look at it but its just not for me.
I have the Saunders NCLEX review which has some good stuff but I WANT MORE!!!...lol

the text that most of us old timers who worked telemetry learned from and is still on the market, periodically updated, is rapid interpretation of ekgs by dr. dale dubin. there is a website for it: http://themdsite.com/
another that i like is a canadian book that you might be able to get in the u.s.: http://www.12leadecg.com/intro/ - introduction to 12-lead ecg, the art of interpretation. the website is the online companion website that you can access for free that has lots of learning information.
i listed the student friendly ekg websites on post #39 of this sticky thread: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/any-good-iv-127657.html - any good iv therapy or nursing procedure web sites. other weblinks to specific information about cardiovascular diseases and tests are listed near the bottom of this sticky thread: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/medical-disease-information-258109.html - medical disease information/treatment/procedures/test reference websites

Another vote for Dale Dubin's Rapid Interpretation of EKG's - a very straightforward and easy to read book. He lays everything out in a clear and concise manner.
