Hi everyone!

Thought I could start this thread for anyone that is applying to the GCC Nursing Program this spring? I'm just getting my portfolio organized and prepared. I have to take the HESI one more time on Feb 24th and attend an info session on Feb 28th and I'm all set. I'm so nervous! But, I'm going to try to be optimistic. I look forward to hearing from you guys :) Take Care~

I just found some of the questions to be confusing with having to select more than one answer.

This just made me smile! Not that some of the questions were confusing to you, but the select all that apply. I can officially so to you all...welcome to nursing school! :) It only gets worse I mean better!!!:)

I have a question about one of our readings for Lab 1...Review Taylor's Fundamentals Ch 24: 24-1 to 24-4 p. 582-593 P 582 is in the midst of a section. Did you read from the beginning of 582, start at the section Inspecting the Nose, something else? I'm ready to move on and want to make sure I'm not missing something!

I was confused with that because it starts in the middle of a section and ends like that too, I started on pg 580 and ended with the paragraph on pg 594 right before it talks about assessing the abdomen. We have to read the whole chapter for class 4 so I guess it really doesn't matter because we have to know all the info anyway.

Also did anyone print out the evolve tickets yet? I printed mine out, but I wasn't sure if I printed them right.

I just kind of guessed how to print them out. Lol I think we have to go to the "report" tab? Then I don't know. Lol how did you print them?

I went to the report tab and then clicked on grades under category and then student grades and a table came up with all the grades so I printed that out.I also went into the modules and clicked on each one that we completed and printed it out with all of the questions.I wasn't sure if that was right, but I couldn't figure out any other way to do it lol.

I think I'm going to do that too lol

When you finish the post-test the page that comes up which shows what you did correctly and incorrectly is what I printed out. It allows you to see the whole test. I can't see why they would want you to print anything unless they want to go over it briefly in class. I don't think it is just to make sure you completed the assignment because they get a notification when you complete assignments. I would rather be overprepared than underprepared.

I'm finally printing everything out. No problem with the report/grades page. But I have to copy and paste to get all the questions and answers to print. How did you all do it? A right click/print or print from my browser just prints out the page information and left column, not the test information. Am I missing something?

It wouldn't let me print all the questions. It just printed out one question and that was it, so I copied and pasted all of the questions into Microsoft word and then printed it.

I think I right click printed? And got the whole test printed out. I didn't have to copy/ paste.

I did it the was ctine05 did. I tried right-clicking and didn't get anything worth printing. Darn it!

If anybody is still working on the assignments for Lab1, I've arranged them by topic and in such a way that they can be printed in the remaining space of the first column. Let me know if you want me to send you the doc.

Yes, I'm that compulsive.

Does anyone have lab tomorrow? We just bring our stuff listed on the sheet and vital signs right?or do we need our kit too?
