  1. Hello, I am looking for advice or maybe this happened to someone else too. I just found out my RN NY license has been expired since 12/31/21. I only found this out because I tried to renew my NP license to be told this. Now my NP NY license is on hold. I filled out a delayed registration form and submitted it but the PROBLEM is I have been working since finding this out completely unaware that my RN license was expired. I never receive anything in the mail or email from NYS to renew my RN license but I did receive the NP in the mail to renew which I cannot because it is on hold. On the delayed registration form I had to be honest and say I worked during this time. I called someone at office of professions and they told me that once they receive my application in 7-10 days they will process and generate me a bill and send to my email where they will backdate from the time it was expired. They could not tell me how much or if I will get in big trouble. I do have active RN and NP license in NJ though. So now I wait .... Also, I want to mention that my current place of employment never told me about my inactive RN license for 1 year either. So, after telling them my situation their response was for me to not worry and to just keep working they won't find out .... I feel very uneasy about this because I do not want to get in big trouble and lose my licenses for a mistake that I did not intend to happen this way. I honestly was completely unaware of this until I tried to renew NP. What should I do? I am looking for advice if someone had a similar situation and what was the outcome. Thank you so much!
  2. I believe they register the schedule for you once accepted. If you need to switch with someone, you have to do that on your own and then make sure they confirm it
  3. I think we will be fine too! Yes, I submitted my application. I think the deadline was yesterday. I emailed the professor and she said we should hear back about acceptance around July. She told me that lecture could potentially be online due to COVID-19 but, the lab and clinical will be face to face unless something changes. I am a transfer student. I took all my classes at another community college 10 years ago, and they are about to expire so I hope I am accepted so I do not have to repeat any of them. I am thinking positive thoughts for both of us ?
  4. Sorry again for the late comment. I will be applying for the Fall 2020 program. What about you? My states were 92 ENG and MATH HESI.
  5. Hey. Sorry I'm late to your comment but, I am going to be applying for their Spring 2020 night program.
  6. Minabutterfly, I will also be petitioning for the Spring 2019 program. I also waited to the last minute, but I can't postpone it anymore. I will be attending an info session Sept 24 this monday and retaking the HESI test (because it expired) on Sept 27th and then handing in my petition The HESI was easy only math and english. At least that's what I thought. Good luck to you! Let's keep each other updated. I wish more people were on this forum, but maybe not many people know about it.
  7. Hey..... I actually was accepted to the MCCC program in 2017 spring. But, something came up and I had to postpone my plans. I will be applying to the spring or fall 2019 program. My HESi scores were overall 94%. English and Math were in the 90s scores. Not sure GPA because I am a transfer... but I took all my pre-reqs and I had As in all except B+ in psych and math.
  8. Hi, I was wondering if anyone else is applying to Mercer County College's Nursing Program for the fall of 2016. I plan on taking my HESI test Feb 26th. Hopefully I do well. Let's start a thread of hopefuls.
  9. good luck everyone! I got accepted to Adelphi's Nursing Program so not all hope is lost for me.
  10. I took the TEAS test at adelphi may 18th. I am still waiting for my scores to be updated on the ATI website. From my understanding if you take the test at Adelphi the results will automatically be transferred to Adelphi. If I were you, I would call them and be persistent that they update the scores on your application. Good luck to you! I'm applying for the fall too at Adelphi.
  11. It's alright.... I kind of figured maybe I wouldn't get accepted because I was accepted in 2011 and decided not to go. I'm looking into Jefferson's program though. Good luck to you Joannashaw! Do you know anyone else who got accepted?
  12. I didn't get accepted...... no packet :-(
  13. I didn't get a letter yet, I'll wait until Monday but I am feeling like I didn't get accepted.... so I'm looking into Jefferson and Rutgers
