Gloucester County College Nursing Fall 2011 Hopefuls?

Hi everyone!

Thought I could start this thread for anyone that is applying to the GCC Nursing Program this spring? I'm just getting my portfolio organized and prepared. I have to take the HESI one more time on Feb 24th and attend an info session on Feb 28th and I'm all set. I'm so nervous! But, I'm going to try to be optimistic. I look forward to hearing from you guys :) Take Care~

I'm all up to date on my shots, I just have to get my urinalysis and blood work done which I'll be doing sometime this week.I'm excited for registration tomorrow, but a little nervous, I really hope I get the classes I want.Good luck to everyone:)

Just a quick FYI for appts. Don't forget to bring the degree evaluations. I believe they are required.

The degree evaluations are supposed to be printed out the day of your appointment. I just reprinted mine since it's after midnight!

Registered for the classes I wanted. How is every one else coming along? Did anyone else besides momtofore register for NUR 130 05 and NUR 131 08?

19 students are registered so far! NUR 131 08 has 7 students, 01 has 6. I'm curious to see how many end up registering when all is said and done!

I had to cancel my allergist appt for this afternoon. Never take benadryl to help with sleep when you are going to the allergist the next day. Good grief! I haven't had any benadryl in months! Thank goodness I remembered!

Next semester is one 8-hour clinical and the following 2 semesters are 2 8-hour clinicals per week.

21 students are registered so far.

haha momtofore, your cracking me up. I'm going to be lurking on the gcc portal all day to see how many people signed up lol.

I'm kind of excited about the psych rotation in the 4th semester. I won't get too ahead of myself, since I didn't even begin the first semester..... but I really love psych!

I'm dreading Peds - does everyone have to do it? Or can we do something different instead?

Really? SJerseygrle, why are you dreading peds? I would imagine everyone has to do it. Which aspect of nursing would you rather do instead?

JuSt got done registering.the person who had An appt before me didn't show up so I got to go At 1.I picked nur 130 07 and nur 131 08,so I'm happy because I got what I wanted:).
