Gloucester County College Nursing Fall 2011 Hopefuls?

Hi everyone!

Thought I could start this thread for anyone that is applying to the GCC Nursing Program this spring? I'm just getting my portfolio organized and prepared. I have to take the HESI one more time on Feb 24th and attend an info session on Feb 28th and I'm all set. I'm so nervous! But, I'm going to try to be optimistic. I look forward to hearing from you guys :) Take Care~

Me too! I also got a new tetnus shot, and got everything else done today for the lab stuff........I get my Mantoux reading in a couple days and hopefully I can be done (for now!)

I had to get a Hep-B titer to make sure I do not need the Heb B shots.....my Mom never transfered my shot records to my Doctor when I was young and now he lives in Arizona.......ugh! Hopefully that will work so I don't have to get the shots again. :)

Those medical records and immunization records can really be a pain. My doc told me I never got the varicella vaccine.... when in fact I did.... they just weren't documented for some reason. All she did was take my blood to see if I was immune to the chickenpox. Good luck with everything! Did you get a chance to look at the required books yet?

Not yet.....I will probably buy them after my Summer I class (A&P II)......I have a 2yr old and a 10 month old so slow and steady for me! lol

ctine, I know! I'm very happy too. It will definately be a fun journey. Warning: unleashing my inner nerd~ I can't wait for the assignments and requirements to be sent out!!~ lol

I guess I'm wrong and she goes tomorrow morning? Sorry! I thought that when you posted earlier you wrote about your classes, SJG!
