OH MY GOODNESS!!! I start nursing school tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, sry, that is all...just had to get that out of my system. I've been waiting all my life and it is finally here. I can't believe it.:p

I had a total giddy feeling come over me when I first posted! I wanted to scream and jump up and down, but I was at work so, of course, I didn't. Thanks for helping me get it out of my system, and especially, thank you for the encouraging words, I know there is a tough road ahead! :)

The first day was wonderful! It was really easy, but I did learn some new things. It was easy in the sense that many of the people have not had previous healthcare experience at all. The instructors explained things in a way that everyone could understand. Although I've had a bit of experience it was comforting to know we were not expected to know a bunch of stuff to begin with, and that if I asked a really easy question no one, or at least not everyone, would think I was stupid. We have not had any "homework assignments," but since it is an accelerated program we cover a lot of material. I have a ton to read if I don't want to fall behind!

So far so good! I'm sure you'll hear from me again when it gets more difficult, and I'm ready to pull my hair out!
