Who's taking it winter 2? Have you gotten your book? Are you buying or renting?
Also, if you have taken it, any advice?
It is just so funny how I have gotten perfect scores for my discussion posts in the last three classes and now I get dinged for for some format issue in my reference ?! This inconsistency is rather annoying. Also, did anybody double-space their answers in the assignment document?? I did not even think of it and only in the week 2 announcement did the TA mention they needed to be. Never had to do it on other documents that were provided. I find it unfair that I lost points for it, since it was not clearly stated that it needed to be done.
I did double space my answers. I was so concerned over formatting that I asked questions on the question board. My group TA is very quick on answering and grading.

I hear ya!!! I had the same exact problems. Double space??? Is it even worth fighting? My TA does not respond to the QA board in a timely fashion.....it is soooo frustrating one week into this class.....

I think some TAs are way too stringent about formatting on those discussion boards. I mean, if you tell me to put a reference in, I will; that's fine. But if you copy and paste from Word to the discussion board, it jacks the formatting up royally. But by the same token, if you type your discussion post in the browser, you're likely to lose it if the browser times out. Darned if ya do, darned if ya don't....
DB grades...are there comments somewhere??? I can't seem to figure this out.
If you go to the orginal DB that has been graded, next to your % score, across from the rubric button, there is a button called DETAILS. Click that button and scroll down. There are comments at the bottom of your postings from the TA or whoever graded them.
