Who's taking it winter 2? Have you gotten your book? Are you buying or renting?

Also, if you have taken it, any advice? :D

Discussion grade posted - lost a quarter of a point - my fault for not proof reading 3 times before posting! On to the next one now - assignment grade still not up. - oh in our weekly TA note she states after this week you will get dinged for any format errors in the discussion posts ---isn't that special!! Remember to go back and edit after you post to get formatting correct with citations if you are using Word - I may just write on the board ... less chance of messing up that way

Got my grades......I will never, ever receive a 100% on a paper, simply because I cannot perfect APA formatting.....man I hate that book!! :mad:

Buy Perla software - it does it for you. You have to double check it but it should reduce your stressing about APA

I did my DB post since I have a grade for that. Haven't even started the assignment yet. Did some prelim research, and attempting to not fall asleep and read those chapters. Morrie at least was an interesting character - I would have loved to have met him.

It is just so funny how I have gotten perfect scores for my discussion posts in the last three classes and now I get dinged for for some format issue in my reference ?! This inconsistency is rather annoying. Also, did anybody double-space their answers in the assignment document?? I did not even think of it and only in the week 2 announcement did the TA mention they needed to be. Never had to do it on other documents that were provided. I find it unfair that I lost points for it, since it was not clearly stated that it needed to be done.

I got dinged for that a couple of classes ago ... the TA's all need to get on the same page! For this class, that double space requirement was actually in the TA's weekly letter. I got dinged for a format issue also - but after she pointed it out ... I saw it immediately.
