Georgetown ABSN Fall 2011

Any applicants to the Georgetown ABSN program for Fall 2011 out there? I have been reading old threads from last year and for applicants to Spring 2011, but it would be nice to have a place for Fall 2011 applicants to talk.

From what I read in past threads, the application to the WHC program is sent out any day now and we hear about whether or not we are being interviewed at the end of February.

So who's out there?

In as well. I replied to ask when the admitted students day and scholarship interviews will take place. I'm guessing that information will come in a second email, but I'm too excited to wait patiently :).

Does anybody know when we're supposed to hear back about the scholarship? I have to tell some of my other schools by the end of the month, but I don't think we will have a decision by then!

Hi there, I'm new to this thread :) but I was just accepted as well! Now just have to decide between another program while still waiting to hear back from one more...plus the WHC scholarship will play a huge factor in going to georgetown...gahhh...congratulations to everyone who's heard back though!!

Not sure about the decisions - supposed to hear back before the deadline to submit your decision and deposit, but that's late May. I already have a deposit into one school I'm guessing I won't get back as it's non refundable after May 1.

I was just accepted as well! Now I have to decide between Georgetown and GW - is anyone else facing this choice? Feel free to send me a private message - I don't want to clog this thread with Georgetown/GW crossover!

hey i'm debating between gw and gtown as well, i do not know how to private message though... i don't know about gtown b/c it's so expensive and even if i apply to the scholarship we do not find out until august and by then we will have had to pay the $900 deposit!

and i have also heard mixed reviews about washington hospital.

I don't think it would be as late as August... The brochure indicates mid-April for issuing the decisions. Granted, they are behind just in getting out the admissions decisions, but I don't think they'd make people wait that long to issue scholarship decisions - they know people have to make decisions based on that. At least I hope they wouldn't wait that long!
