I'm currently finishing up my prerequisites and just started my NursingCAS Application for George Washington ABSN for Spring 2015. I found out today (4/17/2015) GW temporarily made their Spring 2016 application unavailable due to errors. They will be releasing it again starting 4/24/15. Until then, I'll be completing the generic information on NursingCAS (personal info, transcript entry, etc)
I just wanted to start a thread to see who else is applying to GW ABSN Spring 2016 and get through this journey together!
does anyone know when we have to be down in VA for the start of class? Trying to figure out job stuff and need to tell my boss when i would be leaving if i get in
Hey @TDJones I got an email last week asking for my military transcripts. After I sent them they sent another email sayingthe application was complete and next I'll receive something saying yay or nay basically. Have you gotten any emails?
The last email I got was the one saying the application was complete, and the next email I get would be the one letting me know it's gone to the admission committee. That was back on October 6th.
for those who have been accepted...how long does it take to receive more information once you have made your deposit and sent your letter of intent? Is it by email or snail mail? Thanks!

This is definitely one of the longest processes ever! I'm so anxious... I check my email multiple times per day LOL. Here's my timeline:
-Submitted application to NursingCas on Aug 31
-NursingCas verified my coursework and calculated my GPA on Oct 22
-Received an email from GW School of Nursing that the preliminary review of my application was complete and that it has been sent to the Admissions Committee for further review and decision on Oct 23
Now I'm just waiting......
I've learned from this board that decisions are sent out via email on Fridays. My fingers are crossed that I received a favorable decision this Friday! Is anyone else at the same point in the application process?
