Hi everyone,
I'm currently finishing up my prerequisites and just started my NursingCAS Application for George Washington ABSN for Spring 2015. I found out today (4/17/2015) GW temporarily made their Spring 2016 application unavailable due to errors. They will be releasing it again starting 4/24/15. Until then, I'll be completing the generic information on NursingCAS (personal info, transcript entry, etc)
I just wanted to start a thread to see who else is applying to GW ABSN Spring 2016 and get through this journey together!

What makes Reston and Herndon good locations? I see that they're both about midpoint between DC and campus, but are there things to do in those areas? Not that there's time for a social life, but it's nice to know that I'd be in a place that has things I like to do. Music venues? Hiking/outdoorsy stuff?
What did you like about Herndon? And why there over Ashburn?
Thanks!
Dorian
There are a lot of restaurants/bars/shops in Reston. It has great reviews as a good place for young professionals to live. I wanted to live close to campus but also close to the metro to get into the city which is why I am looking at Reston. Herndon seems great too, it's a little bit closer to campus. I don't plan to have much of a social life but i wanted to be around other people who do in case I get a bit of free time lol! I am planning to have a car, I think it would be hard to get around without one...

Hi everyone!
I think I'll be joining the spring 2016 absn cohort, however I'm concerned about the living situation. I don't really want to live in Ashburn, but the commute from DC is going to be annoying. Obviously I don't want to waste study time on commuting. Thoughts? What is everyone else planning to do?
