I am applying for Spring 2016 as well. I've just about finished the application... I just have to request my transcripts and do the essay question. I'll be transferring from Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA. I'm so excited!

blessedNhopeful, I am also applying for the Veteran's BSN. What branch are/were you? I got off active duty Army last year, and am in the Reserves now.

Hi everyone,

I received my conditional admission letter dated 8/14!!! I applied very early on 6/18. It's a conditional admission letter because I'm finishing up microbiology this fall and will submit my final transcript once grades are posted in December.

Background about me: I have an MBA in finance and economics 3.88 GPA. And a Bachelor's degree in English, Human Rights, and Philosophy 3.69 GPA. My Human Anatomy and Human Philosphy courses are 4.0.

GW2016, how long after they received all your transcripts did you get your letter? My application was submitted 8/8, and as of today they have received all of my transcripts. I'm just wondering how long it took from the time they had everything until the time they made their decision. Thanks!

TDjones- I submitted my application super early on 6/18 and nursingcas verified my gpa on 7/14. I received GW Decision email on Friday, 8/15. I think they usually email their decisions out on Fridays from what I've read on blogs for earlier cohorts. My transcripts and references were sent to Nursing Cas while I was writing my essay, so when I submitted my application to nursing Cas- they had everything except all they needed to do was verify the Gpa against the application--That process can take a little while.

I wasnt expecting the decision until mid-late Oct since GW Admin told me that they wanted to get a bulk of their applications in before deciding. It was a good summer gift.

Hello everyone...I submitted my application on August 5th, and NursingCAS says they received everything on AUgust 19th (not sure what took them so long), and my application is now in the verification process. I am assuming it probably won't be verified until after September 1st. Does anyone know what GWU counts as the application submitted date? Is it the day you send it into nursingCAS, the day nursingCAS receives everything, or the day that it is verified?

I was surprised as well how long the verification process took for the NursingCAS application. I submitted my application back in early july but it took until mid-Aug for the reviewers to get back to me to correct an entry. I just got an email from GW on Aug 28th that they have received my completed application. Kind of annoying that I originally submitted back on July 3rd.

creavis, They received all of my stuff just two days after yours, on 8/21. My app was submitted on 8/8, but they didn't get all my transcripts until the 21st. Has your status updated yet? Mine still says it's verifying.

Hi TDJones - I called and they said that as long as everything was received by Sept 1, it's ok. They just won't look at the application until it is verified. I am still waiting on mine!
