OK, I have a HP backpack to carry my books, but for one class, I have 4 books. What do you use to carry your books? Don't you have a lot when you start nursing classes?
THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT.

PS countdown to fall classes. :)
I just graduated and throughout school I used a backpack. As a matter of fact, I always had it strapped on me. It became a growth it seems. If you need to carry everything, to include reference books (recommend you buy a good drug book among others) I saw people in my class using one of those luggage thingys that you can take on planes. It's got wheels, pockets and saves your back. And no, no one is going to point and laugh when they see you wheeling it around. They will (like I did) wonder why they weren't doing the same thing. Good luck in school! Read your assignments, save all your notes and above all, stay in contact with all your instructors starting from day one. It makes a difference.
I just went through two years of prereq's taking 5+ classes a semester and almost wore the wheels off my rolly backpack. In fact, I saw a classmate at Starbuck's the other day and she didn't recognize me without the tagalong backpack!:)
I'm not sure what I will need for classes this fall, but I don't think I will roll my books there. I must climb 50 or more steps to make it into the ed center... a hassle to carry that awkward thing up those. I'm hoping I don't need to carry many on any one day.
After having back aches for two years because of the 50 pounds or more of books, I started just tearing out the chapters that were shown in the syllibi. I got alot of people telling me that "Hey you paid almost $100 for that!". That's ok...I just put the chapters in a binder and it made my load much lighter. The rest of the book sat on my bookshelf in case I needed to look something up. I will continue to do this in this coming year (my last!).
