OK, I have a HP backpack to carry my books, but for one class, I have 4 books. What do you use to carry your books? Don't you have a lot when you start nursing classes?
THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT.

PS countdown to fall classes. :)
My Jansport backpack has seen far better days. I just graduated a month ago. THis pack has been with me through 4 years of service. THe zipper broke when I went the docs office a week ago. Books everywhere. I get to retire it when I pass the NCLEX on the 30th of June. Its been good to me but its time for it to see some less stressful days. When I started the journey through school, I honestly thought that I would not have to study once I graduated. How little I knew back then.
I keep my books organized in a suitcase with wheels. That I keep it in the back seat of my pickup. A big trunk would work even better. In addition, I keep various boxes organized with clinical or project stuff. You know, whatever is going on at the time. However, I carry a briefcase bag to class (flap-top). This is better for me because I can't stand to dig for things. Hope this helps...
I had an L&Bean backpack that was huge when I was taking the pre-req's, when I started nursing school I got the one on wheels, most days we had to bring 3 or 4 big books and it got heavy, I couldn't even fit them all and a notebook in my reg. back pack so I found one, I think it's a Jansport, I couldn't find one where I live at Walmart or any other store (small town) so I found it on a website and ordered it.

I have a huge briefcase type bag, but to be honest If I don't get a bad back from nursing, I will form all the books I lug around, thankfully I don't usually need more than four big books a day, and me and my friend share books in class so that halves the weight, and helps with revision, transferring notes from one book to the other.
I also havea paddington bear shopping bag, which fits in a couple of text books, or a lever arch file, which I tend to use for all my journal articles.
I found a website today called
they had some great bags that I plan to purchase from them.

Just went today and bought a wheeled back pack...I'm not wild about the coulor, but if it saves my shoulder/arm from the pain I've been in for the past two weeks, it's so worth it!
