  1. RNKittykat, I feel you. I still haven't received the promised newsletters or magazines. The way they pass around that money jar you would think you were at church. What really bothers me is that the school pays to send a select few to various conventions around the U.S., but we have to fund raise money towards graduation. So a few get to go hang out in Tennessee and everyone gets to wash cars (ect...) so we can have a graduation ceremony. I really have no idea what takes place at these conventions, other than they give out various awards. Two of the prizes are for membership and $ raised. Hmmm. I bet you can guess who got those plaques last time. Hope all is well with you!
  2. Thank you everyone for all of the great advice. Since we can't spend anymore time together (I really don't think that's the issue anyway), we're going to try to make the time we have together more special. I really think that a hobby is a great idea. He definately has more extra time on his hands than I do! How do you suggest this in a delicate manner? Hopefully this will help but only time will tell. I do worry about the future when I'm working. What if I have to pull a double or work an unexpected weekend? What will his reaction be then? The thing that bothers me the most is to give something 110% and then to be told it inadequate. Atleast he's open and honest, I just wish he wasn't so open and honest a couple hours before tests. Again, thanks for all of the advice!
  3. About every two weeks my boyfriend comes to me with the "we need to talk". Basically the talk boils down to that he's not getting the amount of attention he needs. I try to explain that school won't last forever and it won't always be this way, but he's still unhappy. We have dinner together every night and always do something fun together on the weekends. I feel we're lucky to have this much time together, but he still feels neglected! If I'm with him I feel guilty about neglecting my studies. If I'm studying I feel guilty about not spending time with him. It seems like I'm in a no win situation. Any suggestions on how to balance school and relationships, and also maintain your own sanity?
  4. I have also been told the same thing. I heard that some of the questions will be fill in the blank (mostly drug dosages), but there will still be some multiple choice.
  5. Whenever I feel a cold coming on I take Vit C, zinc and echineacia/goldenseal. I still might get a bit of the sniffles, but it seems to keep that hit by a mac truck feeling away. Good luck and take good care of yourself!
  6. Lina, I had an episode of shingles about 4 years ago, which also left me with a few pox scars on my back. It was so horrible and painful I thought I would lose my mind!!!!! I have also heard that you can only have it once.?. I'm very interested to see the replies. I never want to go through that again!
