So far everyone thinks its great.I'm getting alittle nervous about if I'll be able to handle it and work also.Got 7 prereq's left,then the fun begins:uhoh21:

If my best Friend was doing drugs,I would no longer hang out with him,which is exactly what happened.My best friend for 29 years had stopped doing drugs,then I stopped and he started again.We know longer hang out together like we use to.Every couple of months I'll drop by and say Hi and see if things have changed,theres always hope,but hes still the same.My life moves forward,his stays the same.Sometimes we have to let our friends go or some how they might also bring us down with them.

I had to do a paper for English on what my career was going to be.I was doing research on nursing.A couple of nurses from here let me interview them for the paper.Started posting alittle,made friends and have been here ever since.:)

I don't want to be a Doctor,but would like to get a PHD in Nursing.But I'll probably burn out from school long before then.

I don't believe you can become an RN through on line studies.You have to do Clinicals and other stuff you can't do on line.You can Do your BSN on line,but only if your already an RN.:)

Its ok by me.I don't even see it with my 19 inch screen.

Lots of jobs for CNA.Doesn't pay well though.My wife does Homecare and only makes 50 cents less an hour then a CNA.

My cousin just graduated as an RN and started at $34.00 an hr.Southern Calif.Plus full benefits.... :)

:) Welcome.Just keep going at becoming a nurse the best way for you.People gave me all kinds of Ideas on how I should go about becoming a nurse.I choosed the best way for me.It will have taken me 5 years,when all said and done to become an RN.I will still have 20 plus years till I can retire so look foward to becoming a nurse.Then I will continue my education to see how many Degrees I can get in those 20 years.Good Luck and once again Welcome to AllNurses:)

When I was a Teen I was into drugs and drinking.I would push all the right buttons till my Dad exploded and would hit Me.I believe I pushed my parents over the edge and got what I deserved.It was only a punch or two,He didn't beat the hell out of me.I think we all have a breaking point and I was good at finding it.I think You just hit that point and now need to seek counseling.I use to spank my kids,but have taken some Christian parenting classes that have helped me so much,that I haven't had to in along time.I personally would work on my relationship with daughter more and put the job part to the back burner if you can.Family First in my book,your daughter needs you.Just my 2 cents:o
