Oncology....maybe even Pediatric Oncology, not sure yet. But Cancer nursing is where I find my interest growing.

we chose what area we want to go into before we start the course and after 6 months or so we can change if we want depending on if there are any places available. If there isn't any places then you have to stay in the area you chose before the course began. I am doing paediatrics and in my final year. I really enjoy it. :)

I'll think I'll wait and see but I'm leaning towards being an CNM (certified nurse midwife).

i think i want to do oncology. i used to have cancer, i've bee in remission for over 2 years. i really think i might be able to make a difference there since i'll have something in common with the patients.

Rehab, rehab, rehab!! Pediatric rehab!
My son spent two months at a rehab facility at Children's Hospital after a brain injury. I want to be the kind of nurse my son had. They were wonderful. And like Nursebutterly, I feel I can be of help to the parents. I understand the fear of not knowing what's going to happen to your child.
