Hi Everyone! Another semester has come to an end :yeah:

So, what are your summer plans??

Taking summer classes :trout:

A much needed vacation :smokin:

Catchin up on the reading you did not do during the semester :nono:

I have one summer class to take (Bioethics), then I am off to Jamaica for 10 days before I come back to prepare for Nursing 2.

What are your plans???

;) Yup. It seems only people in this area know what that means. I'm in PA and from Philly.

LOL that meaning is common to most people. I used to live in MD and we use to say that when we were talking about Ocean City which is on the Eastern Shore. Now I'm in NC and people say that for Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, etc.

I have a nursing class this summer, but I am so enjoying my 2 1/2 wk break in between semesters.

Specializes in OBGYN, Neonatal.

Well...since this is my last semester... :):):):) :monkeydance::balloons:

- last day of classes 6-16

- graduation luncheon - end of July

- graduation - 7-26

(back surgery on 7/5/07) Yep, I have to get a laminectomy. This will be my second back surgery in 11 years. :chair:

While recooping from surgery I will be studying for the NCLEX and plan to take it in August!

Then come September 10th I am due to start my new job at a Level 3 NICU!

I plan on spending lots of time with my son and husband! :1luvu::1luvu::w00t::icon_hug:

I applied for the summer externship program at a credited hospital in my area and just had interview last week. I won't know anything until end of next week. I really need this job. It would be a perfect summer if I just have this job, I don't know what else I'll be doing if I don't have this job. I was thinking of taking psych class over the summer since I have psych and peds next semester in RN program and I have heard it's really hard. OH gosh.....I am dying to know whether I got the job or not.

Working as an extern in a hospital full time and picking up casual call in a nursing home on the side. I have two days off the whole month of June. I'm certain that someone will call and beg me to work both days anyways :uhoh3:

I keep telling myself I need to make some cash this summer.

Hi all, Jersey Boy here.....only the JERSEY SHORE holds claim to the title!!!! :>P I lived in SC for 6 years, and the entire coast of NC/SC including Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Isle of Palms, and Hilton Head are all referred to collectively as "The Beach"---

We love to have all you "Bennies" (jersey speak for tourists) visit our great beaches and boardwalks during the summer! Bring loads of cash...

I'm apparently starting off my summer by becoming addicted to allnurses.com! The kids have been with their dad for the past two days and I swear all I've done is read posts and LMAO! :rollThis forum is definitely a great way to spend the summer preparing for nursing school!
