Serum blood sugar, just a guess though.

I'm taking micro this fall too. Couldn't wait to stand in line for 10 minutes (just to enter the bookstore) only to find out they were out of the book I needed I think I am going to buy online next time. I am ready for this semester to begin. The classes this semester are Micro and Psych II. After Fall 05, I will have one class left before entering nursing next Fall. Yeah!!! Good Luck to everyone.

I am taking 3 classes this Summer.... Speech - 2 wk class, so it will be over with quickly. A & P II - full semester Psychology - online Continuing on course for Fall 06 acceptance, since I didn't score enough Biology points to get in this year. I am working full time and will have 3 academic classes left after the Summer semester.

Thank you momto4nurse. My husband and I are going to get away for the weekend to discuss our future plans. He has already told me to not worry about it and if it takes one more year, so what. We both know I will be a nurse, eventually.

Looks like I'll be one of those taking classes for 4 yrs for ASN Program because I got my letter today & I didn't make it in this year. I did not have as many points as other applicants who have completed their biology classes. I knew it was a long shot because I had so many classes left, but its still a bummer. I do have the option of applying for the LPN Program and then apply for LPN Mobility for RN, but I'm going to think about it over the weekend before I decide. Thanks to everyone for your responses.

I was just wondering how many of you have applied, but still have academic classes to take before the program starts. All of my pre-reqs are complete except 5 non-nursing courses and I plan to take 3 classes in the Summer. I am waiting so anxiously for my letter but worried I won't score enough points to get in this year. Anyone in the same boat and how did it turn out for you. Thanks.

I'm in semester #2 of prereq's. I will be applying for the fall 2005 ADN program. Hopefully I will have all classes, except Microbiology, completed before the nursing curriculum begins. I'm married to wonderful husband and we have one daughter together, almost two years old. My schedule includes 2 classes M-TH, in the evenings. We are currently a one income family, so I take evening classes to prevent day care expenses for now. Good luck to everyone. This will be a great forum, I'm sure.

I too, was encouraged to be a nurse when I was younger, but never really thought seriously about it (I wanted an office job). My mom, CNA in nursing home, nearly 30 yrs now. Well, I finally realized I needed to better myself for my family. I was 6mths pregnant and decided to be a nurse. The nurses I met when I had my baby were awesome. RN in 2007 here I come! So what, if it took me thirty years to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life!!!
