Glad to hear you have some great instructors. I really like my professor...although she's pregnant & leaving us in March. One of our lab instructors is an older woman & she is full of stories from her experiences in nursing. She is amusing. I'm hoping to get her for my evaluations because she seems like the friendliest one out of the three. Not that the other two are mean or intimidating, but they definitely don't put you at ease.
I had my first test today.......will find out the results tomorrow. I know I missed at least 6 questions---those tricky answers....lol. There were 40 questions on the test & we are allowed to miss 8. One of the questions on the test is being thrown out & two others she's reviewing because they had two equally right answers--one wasn't better than the other. So I'll know in the morning where I end up.
I've got lots of reading to do also. It truly is non-stop once you start class. Best of luck to you!!!!!

Well, I just had my first REAL nursing class, and I have to say that I think I am going to LOVE this program. My instructors (especially the one I had today) are nice, witty, and really seem to want us to do well. (Compared with another school in the next town that has instructors of death whose main mission in life is to weed you out, fail you, and make you cry.)
*sigh* One day down, many many more to go.
I also joined the SNA chapter and hope that it will give me a chance to make some friends, of which I have none living within 100 miles of me.
Well, that's it for me. Got some reading to do for tomorrow and need to go over my notes from today, so yall just pray for me and keep me in your thoughts.
Good luck to all the rest of you newbies!!! We're in for quite a ride! :roll
God bless all of you,
