I'd love to know who here is starting this journey along with me.
I'm starting an 18 month (after pre-reqs) LPN program on Jan 9.
I will then begin the RN bridge program & God willing, I'll be finished with that in two semesters.
I'm very excited and scared to death! I want to go out shopping for my books and supplies, uniforms, shoes, ect.....but can't until we get our lists on the first day of classes.
Who else?
I start my LPN program Jan 9th. It is a one year program and then I will apply for the one year ASN bridge program.
I am currently a medical technologist (lab tech) so this will be a very interesting perspective change for me!
I am getting excited and am anxious for classes to start.
I rarely buy books from the bookstore and almost always find them cheaper at Amazon.com Worth a look.
Good luck everyone!
I'm starting my ASN program on the 3rd...Fun, Fun, Fun....I've been living for nursing school for the last couple of months, but now that I'm almost there, I'm starting to freak out! Everybody, enjoy your life while it lasts, I have a feeling we won't be having much of a life once school starts....!
I *sorta* started yesterday. We have a 2 day dosage class which we must pass the test with a 95% to move on to Fundamentals which starts the 30th. Yesterday what we did in dosage was easy as pie but she said the harder stuff would be today. Then tomorrow I test ( we do get 5 chances to pass).
I enroll tomorrow morning and begin a two year associates RN program @ Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma, Monday, Jan. 9th. :)
Today I've gotta go get some shoes, a lab kit, and a patch for my uniform.
I'm not a morning person but I'd rather get the morning hours than nights 'cause I have four youngsters.

Starting my road to ADN January 17th. I am excited, nervous, thrilled, scared and anything and everything inbetween. I havent gotten my books yet but will do that Jan 5th when my school opens back up. I have NO IDEA what its going to cost or how many I need yet but I am preparing myself for the worst. I got the campus I wanted and the instructors I wanted so I was extremely lucky there.
Congratulations to all who are starting and good luck!
